Batting first, losing the toss, Kolkata scored 178 for 7 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Delhi lost 3 wickets and win 7 wickets in the match to make it their name. Rishabh Pant played a magnificent inning of 46 runs with Dhawan on behalf of Delhi. Dhawan played an important inning of 97 runs in 63 balls with 11 fours and two sixes. Due to the 3 runs, he missed the century Dhawan was adjudged Man of the Match for his excellent innings.
